2004-12-24 Craft and rework a vision of yourself

I've been tweaking this website , my resume , and my Nostalgia application a lot in the last few months. I find the activity similar to what I was doing with Sagent for 2 years. I'm trying to craft content. I'm trying to define a business that would utilize my talents (gifts and strengths like my writing skills, creative imagination, and java/data warehouse hacking ability). I'm trying to talk about things I am passionate about. I'm trying to define simply products and services of need (what the world is willing to pay for). I'm trying to follow my conscience. This inner voice is telling me that I need to go forth and do this because I won't be young forever and there is a world out there willing to support my work outside of the typical 9 to 5 job. At the same time, my 9 to 5 job is promising to be lucrative enough for me to maybe take the time in a few years to explore alternative ways for me to use myself to make money and support my family.

The process is similar to what I did writing papers for school.... outline it, fill it with thought, and then break it down, refine it. Make sure the argument you are proposing is well supportive and persuasive to the reader.

I believe 2005 will be the year that I start to get more people to listen to what I have to say.
