- Lead a technical team to implement data acquisition for a data warehouse of telemetry and other enterprise data for a company that manages the electric grid in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Maryland.
- Used PERL to normalize mainframe data and the Sagent Solution to implement and automate data population for the data warehouse and several data marts.
- Took on multiple challenges including vendor technical support communications, standardizing procedures, training team members, and generally coming up with creative solutions to the customer’s problems. The resulting warehouse is targeted to be over a terabyte in size.
- Participated in data modeling meetings for constructing an operational data store to hold data from transactional systems and a datamart for reporting/scoring on federal energy reliability compliance.
